UAE launches Falcon Eye 2 satellite on its National Day! Here's how it'll watch over the Emirates from space

Marred by repeated delays due to bad weather and shadowed by its predecessor's crash, Falcon Eye 2 finally made its way powered by a Russian Soyuz rocket. The satellite took off from a spaceport in French Guiana and successfully took position in earth's orbit. In addition to strengthening security and helping UAE's army, Falcon Eye 2 will also maintain a sharp gaze on environmental changes and send high-resolution images to help with urban planning.
